I've never written a blog before, but here goes.
It's finally time to pack our suitcases and set off on our big adventure! One more day in Yellowknife to attend to last minute details. Everything is booked, the visas arrived in the nick of time (no thanks to Canada Post, who delivered them to the wrong house) we're immunized, supplied with bug dope, sun tan lotion and have aired out the swim suits and sun hats. Soon we'll be heading south, leaving the snow and ice behind and won't be back until the end of January.
